Children’s Sunday School
Toddlers and Twos:
Classes meet in the Nursery at 9:50am. Children use story cards, crafts, music and games to learn the stories of the Bible and the lessons within them. Cokesbury’s “Rock-A-Bye” curriculum gives these beginning learners a solid introduction to the wonders and beauty of God’s love.
Pre-K Class:
Class meets in the “Little Ark” room at 9:50am. Children ages 3 and 4 dive in to the Bible with Cokesbury’s “Live B.I.G.” curriculum. Each week brings music, arts/crafts, games and role play, as well as a visit from the “Live B.I.G.” friends (characters seen each week on the DVD segment).

Early Elementary:
Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade. These children are “Living B.I.G.”, too! Cokesbury’s “Live B.I.G.” curriculum engages children with “cool” music that praises and celebrates our glorious God; brings current technology into the Sunday School classroom; and provides hands-on activities that keep children coming back for more! Live B.I.G. Sunday School truly paves the way for children to LIVE their Belief In God!
Older Elementary:
These pre-adolescent years can be a challenge! With Live B.I.G. Sunday School, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders delve into the very issues that they and their peers grapple with each day. Live B.I.G. provides a forum for these children to share, discuss and learn the vital role their faith and reliance on God plays in their lives, as well as how to turn to their Bibles and prayer to hear how God is leading them.
Confirmation:
6th Graders and older children who are ready to take the next steps in their Faith journey get an intensive 39-week study of Methodism: our beliefs, our history, our traditions, symbols, ceremonies and the significance of all of this to us as we commit ourselves to a Christian life in the United Methodist Church. Upon completion of this course, the Confirmands are invited to “choose God” as they are confirmed, become full members of the Church and intentionally begin their lives as Disciples of Jesus Christ.
